     I found this site while searching the internet. I needed to find a home for Sammy and it was important to me to be responsible and carefully find him a loving place that he deserved. I had several responses but they were to far away for me to drive. I think everything happens for a reason and the timing too. I was contacted from a woman that lives on the East Coast wanting Sammy for her mother who lives 30 minutes from me. After speaking to them on the phone, I took him and met her other daughter, who took him to her mother. I know this family is meant to be his new one.

     I would like to thank RescueMe.Org for their fabulous site. I had many responses immediately. I also appreciate all the help that was offered by other Havanese owners. He now has a wonderful home. Thank you again.

     Thank you Jeff for this website. A friend recommended this website so I posted my Rocko with his picture & within a few hours, I already had several inquiries. One family asked to come by to meet him even though they had two children (a teenage boy & a little girl). They also had a female Havanese named Sally. The entire family came & I was a little leery of letting Rocko near the children because he had been kind of aggressive towards strangers, especially children. I need not have worried. Rocko was ready to play with Sally; although, Sally wasn't sure about him! Rocko then ran straight to the teenage boy, licking him & playing with him....it was love at first sight! I let them take him to their home to try him out & after a few days went to their home to see how things had gone. I was prepared to take him back home, if things hadn't worked out, because other families were waiting to see him. There was no way I could take Rocko from that family after observing them.....Rocko was home! I was soooo happy for him; even though I was seriously missing him! Since I could no longer care for him, this was a perfect outcome for him! I can't thank you enough & will definitely be making a donation.

     Our Havanese 'Peaches' has been for sale for almost a year. I advertised her on www.rescueme.org and immediately started getting inquiries. It was hard to find a good home for Peaches because of her food allergies which I told about in her ad. I was pleasantly surprised when several people were willing to accept her even with her severe allergies. Peaches is going to a wonderful home and is going to be a service dog.

     We were really concerned about the possibility of finding a good home for Lucy, our 12 year old Havanese. I called a local breeder who suggested I contact Rescue Me. The results were incredible. Within two hours I had two local prospects who wanted to adopt her. The lady who sounded the best to me to be the new provider arrived at our house the next morning and it was love at first sight; Lucy's tail didn't stop wagging for the hour the lady was here interviewing. I am pleased to say that Lucy is undoubtedly in a fine home and will receive the level of love and attention she has received since she was a puppy. By the time I terminated the listing I had received six contacts inquiring about Lucy--and two more after I terminated the listing! I am pleased to recommend Rescue Me. Donation check is in the mail.

     Charlie found a wonderful home about three months ago, I received a lot of inquiries from my posting on Rescue Me site. I used both Havanese Rescue and Rescue Me sites, posted a picture of Charlie on the Rescue Me Site as well as Havanese Rescue. Charlie was not my dog (belonged to a friend), but I boarded him at the kennel where he had boarded before paying for his boarding and vet exam for the month until he was adopted. I did it because I was thoroughly charmed by Charlie and had been his friend for two years. Thanks for your note. I will send a donation this week. Glenda Gavenman

     Iggy has an approved adopter and he will be officially adopted and traveling to his new 'furever' home just after the holidays. I was going to mark it 'pending,' but that wasn't offered. I am so happy I was referred to your web site! I have posted our rescues to a larger web site, but maybe because it is so large, I do not receive very many inquiries/applications. The results here were very swift in coming. And the quality of the adopters is impressive also. The site is straight forward and very simple to use. Thank you for such a great venue!!!!!
