    Nina is a 12 year old female purebred havanese who weighs 6 lbs. She was an owner surrender. She has an occasional seizure but is not on any medication. Sky was saved from a high volume shelter in CA. She is a dream girl! So well behaved, potty trained,and loves to cuddle and be close. Skye has a sweet spirit, and whoever adopts her will be very lucky to have her. She likes all dogs and is so easy abd charming. We are not sure about cats, as she is not fostered with cats. She is good with other dogs and cats, however she likes to be by herself alot. She likes fuzzy blankets, litle beds, toys and treats.     Havanese Dogs can make good pets in Washington if they match your IifestyIe. The Havanese is a type of Bichon, and as such does not shed. Havanese make wonderful companion dogs. Havanese are fond of children, and are generally very playful and friendly. Havanese do well with most other household pets, and are very sociable, even following their owners around the house. Havanese are best suited to warm climates and need to be protected from cold temperatures.

    Havanese are great dogs for allergy sufferers. Havanese may not eat unless they have company; some will pick up a big mouthful of food and carry it to another room to be with their owner, drop it on the floor, and eat it one piece at a time. Havanese were first bred in Cuba.
