Havanese    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Bella is a very loving dog and just wants to be by your feet and please you. She enjoys going on walks but isn't required, she was rescued from a high kill shelter in january after the family had a death in the family and had to give her up. I took her in and love her to bits and she really is a great dog and loves to wear clothes and get pampered. Due to our own family circumstances I fear I cannot give her the home she deserves. She is definitely a lap dog and enjoys her car rides. She is used to being kenneled at night and adjusts well to new settings. I have her vet records from prior family. Fee is $600 and non-negotiable. She would ... (Read More)love to go to anyone who has the time and forever love for her. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-07-28-00003Odin (male)

Havanese Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Female Dogs Only, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Description of pet Description: Odin looks like a mix of Havanese and Bichon Frise. He is all white and non-shedding. He is young around 1-2 years old. He weighs 24 lbs, so he is on the large side of small. Personality: Odin is amazing! I adore this dog! He is friendly with people and older kids. He is a cool dog and will make the perfect hiking or walking companion. He is great on the leash. He is a great traveler. He settles in and does not make a peep. He does funny things like dragging his bed around and collecting toys. He loved the beach. I am sure he had never experienced anything like it. There was so much to sniff and the sand ... (Read More)under his paws was delightful to Odin. He is going to make one lucky adopter very happy. Needs: Odin will be happiest as an only dog and king of his castle. While he is very sweet with people, he can react to dogs that get in his face, or take his toys. He was fostered with other dogs and has never bitten, but he will act dominate. On the leash, he will not react to other dogs unless he is nose to nose and that makes him feel uncomfortable. He would like a fenced yard and someone who has time to spend with him. He bonds easily with people, so please have time for him. He won't be happy being left on his own for long periods of time. He is well mannered and he listens, so he is perfect for the family that just wants one dog. Older kids are fine, but no children under 10 for Odin. He is housebroken but will need guidance coming into a new environment. Perhaps younger retired folks who have the energy to exercise a young dog will be his best match. Adoption Fee: $475 Includes, neuter, current on vaccinations, flea treatment, grooming, microchip, health certificate, heartworm test. Process: All interested parties will be asked to fill out an application. One can be found on our website: We can send you one as well. We make decisions based on a dog's needs, so basically we are matchmakers. Please read 'NEEDS' to make the decision to fill out the application or not. We are also happy to answer any questions. Not all dogs need the same thing. We also do home visits, so far distances from Seattle and out of state adoptions won't be doable. Emails over phone calls are appreciated. We just don't have the time to answer every call. We are all volunteers and many of us need to travel and also do this on our days off from work. We ask that you be prepared to adopt before coming to meet our dogs. We are not a shelter that allows people to walk through and visit. We set up appointments after we receive completed applications from serious, potential adopters. (Less)
