|Rescue Me ID: 16-08-24-00287Oliver (Ollie) (male)|
Oliver is a sweet and fun-loving young boy, thought to be a Havanese, possibly with some schnauzer?, but just a great guy who had a rough start and ended up in a horribly neglected state in a high kill shelter in Louisiana with his sidekick Maddie. After extensive grooming, vetting, and a few weeks of tlc, he's ready to find a committed home of his own. Ollie loves the other dogs, but would adapt well to being an only dog with consistent human companionship. He is smart and eager to please, loves to fetch and play with toys and is great on a leash. He is a little overweight, around 15# on a long-legged but small frame. He gets cuter each day as his coat grows out. $100 adoption fee to go toward vet expenses. (Less)

|Rescue Me ID: 16-08-24-00277Spider (Maddie) (female)|
Maddie (we call her Spider) is a tiny 6# girl, said to be a Havanese with a low-shedding, shiny black coat. She was rescued from a high kill shelter in Louisiana with her buddy Oliver, both in terrible neglected condition. After vetting, grooming, and a few weeks of TLC, she's ready to move on to her forever home. She is a precious little girl who loves to be on the bed or couch with a little soft toy or treat to chew on (or a blanket.) She loves to run free with the bigger dogs and is great on a leash. She is learning to respect our cat and not be too intrusive. The perfect pet for an older person who wants a tiny, loving companion.

Please read! If you are interested in me, please visit my site, www.breederadoptions.org, read the Policies and Procedures and the FAQs page, complete the application, and my rescuers will contact you promptly. Thank you. Hi! My name is Eva and I am a little Havanese girl who is almost 9 years old and I weigh 9 pounds. I am very scared of this big new world so I need a stay at home parent, no children and someone who has lots of love and patience to teach me how to be a wonderful companion. A socialized sibling would be a big help too. If you have the perfect home for me, please ask for me on your application. Love, Eva 052216-16

Havanese are fond of children, and are generally very playful and friendly. Havanese do well with most other household pets, and are very sociable, even following their owners around the house.
